Cultural Alienation: An Amplification Project for A Community called Truth

 Cultural Alienation

...is the research for Amplification Project.

According to research, the communities in Ladbroke Grove have various struggles   because of the decision of the Municipality or Government.

One of these problems is gentrification, which is a huge obstacle to comfortable   life standarts for people.

Houses on left and houses on right...

There are organistations to support people, like West Way Trust, but they do not answer   what society needs mostly. They prefer staying away politic movements in there.

The Grenfell Fire has changed everything  in the region. People decide to unite and

 established a community: The Truth!

  Wall of The Truth...

This community works well organised, connected with musicians and artists in the
community, activist,...etc. Every 14th of months, they organised a silent march in Ladbroke   Grove.

They try to spark the old Ladbroke Grove spirit!!!

I am working to  amplify their creative protests.

  How to                               Amplify  Protesting?

Before starting to work, analyze the lacks and needs of the community:

 - They Pushed Out:

There is no traces in touristic parts of LadBroke Grove.

See the difference...

Easy to see, if you follow the traces...

-The chanels to spread their protest to reach other people is very limited.

  Organisations do not support.

Their protests where are out of under Westway Road ( knitting hearts, Graffities, etc) are   wiped by Municipality.

They can protest once a month.

  They do not fund.

Thus, we know which points should be support of the community to amplify them.

The second phase, is looking for the succesful acvitities around the world. In this stage, i am seeking particular parts of these protests to implement my project.

Hear Our Voice!

  How to
  Organisations
  Protests?

The campaign—created by community-led organization Justice4Grenfell and BBH
Labs—mirrors the 2017 drama film “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” about a      mother (played by actor Frances McDormand) who uses traditional advertising to press        local authorities to investigate the unsolved murder of her daughter.

  How to

  People

  Participate ?

It is very difficult to change the world. However we should start it from somewhere.
-The first thing is, communication of individuals, other communities and the most important one:        creative minds

-Designing the system: A well-circled organisation can contribute by the protesters and activist         people of the community

 How Do Organisations Organize ?

Todays world, the most powerful and impactful channel to bring people together is:

   INTERNET.

This is one of the well-organized corporations

As we see, charities can organize and do creative works.

    They found people

    They engage others

They use the protests as a creative tool.

They keep the motivation of the organisation.

    So, can we ask ourselfs,

How do we found our protests?

How do we engage other locations?

How can creative individuals support us?

How we can use our creativity to motivate us?

Why LadBroke Grove is so Special?

This place has been a special vibration then the other locals.

  Multi-Cultured Society

  Political Movements

  Hippies, artists, musicians, designers...

  But how did they unite?

This is a very good documentary to inspire from the past.

After that, i did some research and contact the people.

I spread the flyers for West London Communist Group , so i found a chance to talk people who visit Ladbroke Grove.

Interviewed with Mat (not gonna give the surname for security) whoworks for Westway Trust

Interviewed with the author of the biography of Sledge, the first rastafarian of Uk.

A short Interviewed with Matitiu who was the manager of very old pub in Ladbroke Grove

Book that Marcia G. Robinson wrote. It is very illuminative book to understand the past and read the future.
